14 Days Of Prayer For The Persecuted Church

Here is day 2 Thailand:

1) Read - Matthew 10:22-24
22 You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes. 24 The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master.

2) Think About - In this passage, why does Jesus instruct His disciples to flee when they are persecuted?

3) Pray - pray that wherever a Christian may be fleeing for their life as a result of persecution, they will feel their limbs quickened and their heart flooded with hope.

4) Act - share this bible study with your facebook friends

This is fun to do Madison. Sad to think of all the people fleeing as well as enduring persecution. The Bible instructs followers to do both - I imagine it is sometimes hard for people to know which one to do. We can also pray that they have wisdom to know when to flee and when to endure.

I agree Madison. I want to think that if you're being persecuted that it's those people that need Christ's love most. However, they may not be in the right place, but God may use them as one of the steps that lead them to Him. (If that makes sense.)
