Jax is Isaac's 12 month old 145 lb English mastiff. We got him in MN while dad was at a snowmobile show after we had looked at him online. We had been looking for a 2nd dog because Samson is so old. We had been checking the shelter in our town daily but all the cute ones or the puppy's were snatched up before we could even go see them.Then we started looking on craigslist we found him and he didn't need a fence unlike most of the shelter dogs. Then dad picked him up on his way home from the show.
This is him the first day we got him - he was 120 lbs.
He's a good guard dog. He scared away the UPS guy while I was babysitting. The UPS guy took one look at him lounging on the porch and when Jax got up he dropped the package right out his door and drove off.

Yes, he drools just a little.
He has perfected the puppy face.

I can't wait to meet Jax sometime...or maybe not after the ups story ;). Wow! When you see him next to Samson you see how big he really is!
