19 Do you give the horse his might?
Do you clothe his neck with a mane?
20 Do you make him leap like the locust?
His majestic snorting is terrifying.
21 He paws in the valley and exults in his strength;
he goes out to meet the weapons.
22 He laughs at fear and is not dismayed;
he does not turn back from the sword.
23 Upon him rattle the quiver,
the flashing spear, and the javelin.
24 With fierceness and rage he swallows the ground;
he cannot stand still at the sound of the trumpet.
25 When the trumpet sounds, he says ‘Aha!’
He smells the battle from afar,
the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.

What a great dog he was. We were very lucky to have him for 10 years! He provided us with lots of laughs and lots of love (with a bit of frustration thrown in). What more could you ask for in a dog - right?
I am sad for you all and I will miss Samson too . He was a great dog! I have lots of funny memories of him. I am happy that you have another dog with whom to make memories.But I know you will still miss him.

It made me so sad to hear Samson died! I remember the day you're parents brought him home. I also remember him snoring quite loudly at night when I watched him while you guys were on a trip. :) He really was a great dog.
